IHI has its own emergency service, located at the same address as our head office. When you are insured with us, you will always be serviced by an IHI advisor – not by a temporary employment service agency. This is a great advantage for you as our staff have an in-depth knowledge of the products, the different corporate agreements and other important matters relating to your insurance.
The majority of our Danish staff at IHI have an international educational background or work experience from visits abroad. We employ people from more than twenty countries. As a result, we have international staff who are familiar with the languages and conditions in those cultures where our customers might need our help. We have established – and are constantly extending – our network of qualified business partners worldwide. The co-operation with hospitals, doctors and ambulance services is highly efficient and always of the highest quality.

Experienced staff
The emergency service staff are available at any time. Most of them have been with us many years and have great experience in servicing Danish and non-Danish customers. Our Our experienced doctors are also available day and night.
Our competencies
The majority of the staff at our emergency service have a long educational background combined with experience in work or study abroad. In addition, they are all trained in service, medical terminology, insurance law, crisis management, etc.

Our permanent staff of doctors comprises of recognised specialists within oncology, cardiology, rheumatism and allergology, covering all major specialist fields, such as cardio-vascular diseases, cancer, allergy, infectious diseases and gastrointestinal diseases. Our doctors have all been stationed in foreign countries and know what it means to be far away from home. In addition, many of them are specialised in aviation and telemedicine.
